Welcome To Midwest Dive Club

Midwest Dive Club is a new site and organization created to getting more midwesterners involved in the sport of SCUBA (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) diving as well as getting people that are already diving together to organize and plan dive trips and activities throughout the year. Although we are based out of the Kansas City area, which will be where we will hold our meetings, we will be catering to all midwesterners, and may open chapters in other cities down the road. If this is your first time to the site, please register with us, it is totally free. In the future registered members will receive a monthly or bi-monthly newletter with the various activities the group will be sponsoring as well as everything else from new and used gear for sale to tips and tales from our diving members. Our members will also receive special discounts on gear via a "direct from the manufacturer" approach as well as discounted dive trips that the club will be organizing. We are currently working on a building another page off or our site to showcase all of the great prices for various destinations, everywhere from Cozumel to Belize to Florida. Meanwhile, if you are interested in helping with the club, have any ideas, or just want to say hi, feel free to contact us or you can post to our forum with any questions, comments or information you would like to offer. There will be plenty more to come, so stay tuned, sign up and get involved if you are interested.

Florida Keys Dive Club Trip Sept 10-16th | Send this article to a friend Printer friendly page (comments?)
Travel News & Info Midwest Dive Club is sponsoring a trip to the Florida Keys for 6 nights and 5 days of excellent diving in Marathon Florida.  This package includes 5 morning 2 tank dives and 6 nights accomodations in a 1 bed or 2 bed condo at the beautiful Sombrero resort on Marathon in the Middle Keys.  Rates for this trip are only $520 per person based on double occupancy.  Additional dives can be added to the package for $50 per trip.  Nitrox can also be purcahsed in advance.  Check out the rooms by clicking here.  These condo style rooms feature full kitchens so divers can prepare their own meals if they choose.  The hotel also features its own Marina, Tiki Bar, and restaurant.  Diving will be off of their large boat Cristal Clear Diver III.  This is a very comfortable and smooth riding boat with lots of room for all divers.  The captain and the mate are also excellent and very helpful from what I learned first hand this past June.  Please contact us at travel@midwestdiveclub.com or phone 913-980-3355 for more info and to book your trip today.
